coty-james-spin-doctors-nashville-artist-promotion-companies-260x400Born November 9, 1991 and raised in Statesboro, GA, Coty has been strumming his guitar and writing his own music since he was seventeen! Influenced by his Uncle Gerald Smith, a well-respected Nashville musician who has been writing songs for over twenty-five years for country music celebrities like Lori Morgan, George Strait, George Jones and many others. Gerald was also featured as the Georgia Quaker Jack on the hit TV show Hee Haw.

Coty respects and appreciates all country music but particularly likes the music of Chris Young, George Strait, Randy Travis, Vince Gill, just to name a few. Coty quickly developed a strong passion to pursue his own music career and with the support of his family, friends, and fans he did just that.

Coty has shared his musical talent with his followers for the past eight years in several venues including local bars, restaurants, and private clubs. He has had the opportunity and pleasure to open for Corey Smith, Joe Nichols, Luke Combs, Jon Langston and is frequently asked to provide private entertainment for many of his fans.

“Cut Me Off”

In 2014 Coty released his first EP debuting the title track “Cowboy Casanova” which daubed at 197 and later landed him a top 100 single on the Musicrow chart. He is currently working on his second album which he hopes to have released in 2016 titled (Days Like These). Be looking and listening for this latest up-and-coming Country Music talent!
