The Spin Doctors Music Group is a Nashville-based Music Business company, carefully designed to focus on new and emerging country recording artists. We offer a diverse menu of services for all areas of an artist’s career.
Our companies include Spin Doctors Promotions, specializing in comprehensive radio promotion to secondary radio’s top decision makers that report to the Music Row, Billboard Indicator and Mediabase Activator reporting panels, as well as carefully selected influential non-reporting stations throughout the USA.
These secondary markets are critical for new and emerging artists. In fact, statistics show that approximately 55% of country radio P-1 listeners come from these secondary markets. That equates to around 85% of all country music sold because of those important secondary radio markets. Our mission is simple: to promote fresh, new talent in a direct and wholesome manner. We launch our artists music to radio, through long and trusted relationships in the industry.
In addition to radio promotion, we also offer artist management and development through Next Generation Artist Management, headed by Kristin Johnson. Next Generation will provide new artists full artist management and artist development services with honest representation for country’s “next generation” of stars. We can also assist with social networking, Facebook, Twitter, Fan Club development, and more.
Our virtual record label imprint, SMG Records/Nashville has a very impressive roster of upcoming stars and some exciting new artists coming soon. SMG is a full service label imprint and a skilled, promotion staff to get your music heard.
Our newest company, Next Generation Marketing focuses on branding, marketing and social media services. We develop your brand, design a marketing strategy for it, and promote it through all social media platforms. These ale-carte services are available to artists in all music genres’ looking to increase their fan base and visibility.
We also offer tour support services hand crafted to the marketing strategy and in conjunction with the goals the artist is attempting to achieve. We will provide professional representation and out of the box ideas to help increase fan support and work closely with radio to develop and build lasting relationships.
The Spin Doctors Music Group and our affiliated companies are headed by long time radio programmer, Al Brock, who has worked in multiple radio formats. Al brings to Spin Doctors his many years of radio programming experience, and lots of great relationships with country radio programmers, consultants, industry executives, artists, and infuses a new business model to the Nashville music industry.
